Your account online

Once you've registered for access to your accounts online you'll receive the following:

- a 'numéro d'abonné' otherwise known as a user identifier number

- a 'carte KeyPass' otherwise known as a personalised 16-digit code

1)  click on 'Mes comptes' on the home page

2) key in your ‘numéro d'abonné’

3) upon your first connection you'll be asked to select a response from one of ten memorable questions. These are as follows:

Quel est le deuxième prénom de votre père? (What is your father's middle name?)

 

Quelle est la date de naissance de votre mère? (What is your mother's date of birth?) (DDMMYYY)

Quels sont la marque et le modèle de votre première voiture? (What's the make and model of your first car?)

Dans quelle ville êtes-vous né(e)? (In which town were you born?)

Quel est le nom de jeune fille de votre mère? (What's your mother's maiden name?)

Quel est le nom de famille de votre meilleur(e) ami(e)? (What's the surname of your best friend?)

Dans quelle ville avez-vous eu votre premier emploi? (In which town did you have your first job?)

Quel est votre groupe de musique préférée? (What's your favourite pop group?)

Quel est votre loisir préféré? (What's your favourite pastime?)

Quel est votre acteur (ou actrice) préféré(e)? (Who's your favourite actor or actress?)  

Once you select an appropriate reply you'll be asked to use this as your password for each subsequent connection.

As a second-stage password you'll then be asked to key 3 of the 16 digits from your KeyPass selected at random by the computer each time you log in. This KeyPass will change every two years.

Click on 'valider' which will bring you to the main page. From here you'll be able to:

-consult balances (solde)

-view mini-statements (relevés des opérations)

-order statements (relevé de compte)

-order cheque-books (chéquier)

-print a summary of your account details used to hand to originators of Direct Debits and which also contains your IBAN and the Banque Chaix BIC/SWIFT address required for international transactions (relevé d'identité bancaire or RIB)

-obtain exchange rates (cours devise)

-put a stop on means of payment (saisie opposition)

-make transfers between accounts (virement compte à compte)

-make payments to third parties in France as long as you have the beneficiary bank details (virement externe)

In order to make third-party transfers you need to set up the beneficiary details within your personal database as follows:

-click on VIREMENT EXTERNE and select the nominated current account to debit

-click on GERER MES DESTINATAIRES

-click on AJOUT D'UN NOUVEAU DESTINATAIRE on the page LISTE DES DESTINATAIRES DE VOS VIREMENTS

-enter the beneficiary account details and click on VALIDER

These details will be retained for future reference as and when required.

To make a payment to a 3rd party
- select the appropriate beneficiary from the details already created, enter the amount (montant) and reason (motif) and click on VALIDER

To amend beneficiaries
- click on DESTINATAIRES and amend accordingly

To cancel existing beneficiaries
- click on BENEFICIARIES and select the appropriate icon to the right of the screen.

 

Useful to know

• the ensure that an internal transfer is processed on the same day it should be keyed before 20h00 French time

• to check that a transaction has been processed click on the option DERNIERS ORDRES. If the transaction has been successful it will show as « en cours » or being processed or « transmis »  processed

• payments to 3rd parties should be keyed by 12h30 French time to ensure that they are processed on the same day   

• the daily limit for making transfers to 3rd parties is 4.000€

• Apple Mac users should change their browser from Safari and Fire fox to have full access  to the service for the time being

• international transfers and payments are not yet a feature of the service for personal clients.
